Remote Learning

St. Michael has responded to the needs of our families to provide remote learning options when students cannot attend in-person. We utilize Digital Academy’s school information system, with lesson modules and the LIVE Classroom feature to connect students to learning.

We invite you to view the videos below to see some of the ways we are using technology to reach students remotely as well as in school through our classroom portals.

Digital Academy offers synchronous learning options through the LIVE Classroom feature, which allows live video between the teacher and students.  This is used as the need may arise to link students with teachers and school staff.

St. Michael is intentional when using any live video to ensure a safe environment is maintained.

St. Michael School was featured in a recent article published by the Florida Center for Information Technology for its use of the Technology Integration Model and TIM Tools.  The article shares data that illustrates our growth in better technology use, more strategic professional development and improved, corresponding choices in technology spending.
