2020-2021 School Year Update

To members of our St. Michael School community and those inquiring into admissions for our 2020-2021 school year,

We are grateful for the priority and value you place on Catholic education. St. Michael remains committed to the moral and academic excellence of your child. We continue to remain committed to supporting your child’s spiritual and academic development.

During the school building closure induced by safety precautions in spring 2020, St. Michael faculty remained engaged in educating and delivered full time online instruction. Learning continued successfully for all grades due to our school-wide readiness built over the last few years with our Ed Tech partnership with S3 Technologies, use of the Technology Integration Model (T.I.M.) and choice of Digital Academy as a uniform communication platform and online learning module.

The school administration at St. Michael joins principals around the diocese in regular communication with our superintendent and the diocesan task force regarding opening safely in the fall. St. Michael is prepared to offer in-person and online learning options, as needs arise for individual students, with the safety and well-being of our students as the highest priority.

Our dedication to partnering with parents in forming students in virtue has never been stronger or perhaps more keenly urgent. Young people deserve to receive a clear and consistently communicated vocabulary that educates them in the way of virtue and models for them how to live it. Our Education in Virtue approach includes affirming communication between home and school to encourage virtuous and happier living, whether in school or online.

We look forward to welcoming your family to St. Michael. If you have any questions, please feel welcome to reach us at [email protected].

God bless you,

Sr. John Paul, O.P.
